I believe that great attorneys are passionate about their particular field(s) of legal practice. Two legal fields where I find my passion are business law and real estate law. I truly enjoy running my own business. I grew up in a family-owned business and have always really connected with other business-minded individuals. I have a passion for helping my colleagues start and build their own businesses and advocating for them when they face legal challenges. I love watching my clients’ businesses thrive and grow. I also really enjoy dabbling in real estate. Fortunately, my dad raised me to get my hands dirty and taught me how to be handy around the house, which has benefitted me because I am able to do many renovation projects myself, and I enjoy it, very much! The experience on getting my hands dirty in real estate has made me most truly passionate about real estate law. Things that most people find boring, like negotiating terms in real estate contracts, such as leases and purchase agreements, or pouring through surveys to resolve easement disputes are super cool and exciting to me. Clients want and deserve an attorney who listens with understanding, is truly passionate about the client’s needs and legal issues, and will advocate for the client to the client’s best interests. That is the type of attorney that I am driven to be.
